Okay what powder for 300RUM with 200gr bullet?

My partner and I have been stuck with load development duties for his boss and hunting buddies. They all run stupid calibers for hunting. Most of them we have no trouble dialing in. This 300RUM is a different animal. What direction from the ordinary do we look towards?

I’ve used H1000, retumbo, and 8133 out of mine 8133 works the best from 180-240gr bullets. I’m in MN so 8133 works great due to temp stability

It was using a custom reamer barrel came from McGowan precision .308 1/7 25” and I cut the chamber .005 difference from new brass to fired brass she’s tight

Retumbo! 200 gr. Accubond at 3125 fps, from a 26" barrel. Shoots .75 moa.
